I am always looking for unique ways to keep my hair out of my face when I am working out. I am tired of the plane old ponytail but its an easy "go to" because you don't have to think about it.
So I thought to myself how can I spice up the old ponytail, braid, or bun? I found some cute ideas that I have tried myself that work perfect during a workout. Let's face it when we whip our hair back and forth in the midst of a killer workout our hair tends to be all over the place.
So here are some hair tips that keep you looking adorable and feeling secure when you are workin' that bod!
I myself am obsessed with braids. I taught myself how to braid on my Barbie's which I admit I played with until I was 12 but that's besides the point. I learned some pretty cool hair tricks while playing with my dolls that have come in handy for me today!
In this week's Bennerfit Circuit 19 I wore two pigtail braids which is a fun way to style your hair in any workout class you can also wrap one around the top of your hair line and one around the bottom and you've got an adorable braided circle around your whole head. It's one of my favorites whether I'm at the gym or out to dinner on the town!
Ponytails, shomony-tails! I admit I am bored with them. I've always loved the show, "I Dream of Jeannie" and I am inspired by her cute little ponytail that sits right on top of her head. All you have to do is put your hair in a normal ponytail way on top of your head and wrap one piece of hair from the bottom of your ponytail around your hair band and pin it in so it stays.
Ballerina buns...what to do, what to do...I KNOW! Accessorize it! If you are new to Bennerfit I must inform you I'm all about flowers, bows, glitter, and pearls! Ha! But really I am...with that said in order to add something exciting or detailed to your workout outfit, pop a flower in your hair next to your bun (found anywhere from Michael's crafts to Claire's Accessories) or an elastic bow headband that you can wrap around your head. Both are cute ways to spice up your hair during a workout!
So whip that hair back and forth during your next workout while trying a new do and you will be surprised how great an adorable look will stay together. It only takes an extra fives minutes of your time!
