Music to Move By

This is a good dance in your room song.

Daft Punk - Get Lucky

I could listen to Ellie Goulding all day. She has such an angelic voice.

Starry Eyed - Ellie Goulding

I feel like Miguel is the new Prince of the 21st century. This is a great warm-up song.

Beautiful - Mariah Carey, Miguel

Next weekend I am heading to Vegas to enjoy the Electric Daisy Carnival. It's a 3 day electronic music festival that will have me dancing with friends from dusk till dawn. This song will be blazing through the stadium speakers and I can't wait!

Clarity - Zedd

Take a little jog and enjoy this jolly feel good song!

Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke

When people get a glimpse of my iTunes I always feel a little nervously nauseous  It's like they are reading my journal... or going through my bank statement... or looking at me naked. Why are you looking at me naked?? I feel like all of my emotions are laid out on a playlist for them to pick apart and  judge. It's a scary thing.

So this is making feel slightly exposed here. Especially because workout jams are of the most ridiculous variety of music you can have. They are normally peppy, perky, silly songs that make us want to move. I'm a bit out of the musical loop Here's a list of my personal favorites in this moment.  Please note that some of these contain explicit lyrics! They are, in these songs, mostly in fun.

Zee Avi - Concrete Walls (for a more mellow workout)

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Ray Dalton - Can't Hold Us (to have a dance party to)

Imagine Dragons - Radioactive (for a more epic workout)

Daughter - Get Lucky (Daft Punk cover - Houltoug Remix) (because it's so darn catchy)

Not to be a copy cat of Sydney, but I really dig this remix that was featured last week in Circuit 31

Pink - Just Give Me a Reason (for your cool down)

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - White Walls (a nice beat to jog to... and because I can't stop listening to this album...)

Yolo - Lonely Island (for those who like to laugh while they workout)

...ok I don't really exercise to this song but it cracked me up regardless.
